Kimberlite Core Logging Underway
Our drill hole into the Kgare kimberlite is approaching 300m (2021aug22). The core is re-located from the drill site to a secure facility where logging is underway by professional geologists. We are pleased with the progress to date. Drill core is laid for geological logging. Important observations include the frequency, size and state of the kimberlite indicator suite. In particular, the garnet indicator chemistry is an important statement of the diamond potential. In core,

Kimberlite core at last
Drilling is underway at our Jwaneng North project to the immediate north of Debswana's Jwaneng Mine. Our first hole is a re-sampling of the Kgare kimberlite. The exceptional indicator chemistry necessitates another look. We will recover diamonds and look deeper into the indicator chemistry to better understand if the diamond population was fully recognized. First core: slightly weathered volcaniclastic kimberlite with host-rock xenoliths. The last report has the drill at 169m

Finally, drilling has started
Today, the collar was set (photo) and the drill moved onto the collar. This is our first drill hole into the Kgare kimberlite on our Jwaneng North Project. Kgare is located 27km to the north of Debswana's Jwaneng Diamond Mine where a +1,000 carat diamond. Several Covid-19 related delays during our mobilization appear to be behind us. The objective of this drill hole is to recover kimberlite core for diamond recovery. We will also collect kimberlite indicator minerals for chem
