
Clean hands is not just good Covid advise!
Transparency International has published its 2020 Corruption Perception Index for 180 countries. Not surprisingly, Botswana rates very high. The report is worth reading by those interested in Africa, its development and its investment opportunities. Eastport's presence in Botswana is, in part, due to the positive business environment. Our ethics and those of our business partners remain unblemished. We thank everyone in Botswana, including our our own, for this.

Preparing for post-Covid exploration
Covid-19 is a tough one on mineral exploration. It's easy to socially distance in the field but moving about in vehicles and camp situations makes it very difficult indeed. Our operations are all but stopped until this "Covid thing" is under control. Nevertheless, the camps need to be maintained, protected, and kept in a condition so we can go when the all clear is given.
