New Project for 2021

June 2021

The Company received 3-year Prospecting Licences (PL) (PL114/2020) on 1 January 2021 and a second (PL016/2021) starting 1 July 2021. The work programme agreed to with the Department of Mines requires exploration during the two years that leads to drilling during year 3. Providing the work programme is fulfilled, The Company may renew the licences for two additional 2-year terms.

This project targets Norl’sk-Talnakh or Voisey’s Bay-style of feeder sulphide deposits.

Historical work with in PL included drilling. Our research has uncovered reports of mineralization in the drilling. The reports include:

  • DH KP019  0.3m at 1.25% Ni, 0.97% Cu

  • DH KP020  0.3m at 14.6% Ni, 610 g/t Ag

These results are historic and were not verified by the Company.

Presently, full airborne geophysical coverage is available (see map) and our exploration plans include re-processing of these data for geological interpretation and target identification. The historic drill cores may also be available at one or more of the high quality core storage facilities operated by the Botswana Geological Institute (BGI). These will be investigated and re-sampled as part of the initial programme.
